Advocating for reform of Long-Term Care: Our letters to the Premier, Prime Minister and Minister of Health
Last week, we received the disturbing report from the Canadian Armed Forces documenting appalling and completely unacceptable conditions in five Ontario long-term care homes, including Eatonville Care Centre.  It is beyond reprehensible that our seniors are being treated this way. As a result, I wrote to Premier Doug Ford alongside four MP colleagues, urging immediate and concrete steps including a full public inquiry to address the disturbing findings in our long-term care homes revealed in the Canadian Armed Forces report.
