An unexpected encounter in front of the House of Commons!

Eleven years later, Farid Khan still remembered.

I was walking home from an event yesterday when a young man approached me and told me something that really touched me.

He recognized me because I had attended his school graduation back in 2015, when I was serving as his MPP.

Eleven years later, he still remembered that day and wanted to stop and tell me.

It was such a wonderful and unexpected encounter, and a reminder that sometimes the moments we share with people stay with them much longer than we realize.

I’m so glad our paths crossed again, this time in front of the House of Commons!
