One of Canada’s greatest authors supporting one of Canada’s great charities! Amanda and I were pleased to attend the Canada-Ukraine Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Gala featuring Margaret Atwood to celebrate three decades of Canadian generosity in action, humanitarianism, and critical support.
The evening featured an engaging conversation with Margaret Atwood, one of Canada’s most respected and important literary voices, whose reflections on democracy, freedom, and Ukraine’s struggle for sovereignty were both timely and inspiring.
Congratulations to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation on this remarkable milestone. For 30 years, CUF has provided vital humanitarian assistance, advanced critical projects, and strengthened the bonds between our two countries. Since 2022 alone, Canadians, through CUF, have helped raise and deliver more than $100 million in humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
Thank you to everyone who has supported CUF’s important mission over the past 30 years. As Ukraine continues its fight for freedom, the Foundation’s work remains as important as ever.
