It was an honour to join the Tibetan community in Etobicoke to celebrate Losar (the Tibetan New Year) at the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre-TCCC ༄༅། །གངས་ལྗོངས་ཆོས་ལྡན་གླིང་།.
Losar is the Tibetan New Year, and this is the Year of the Fire Horse. Symbolizing strength, vitality, and renewal, Losar is a time of reflection, gratitude, and community gathering.
It was wonderful to celebrate with so many members of the community, my colleague Karim Bardeesy, Member of Parliament, Taiaiako’n—Parkdale—High Park and representatives from other levels of government.
