I was honoured to join students and members of our Muslim community at Kipling Collegiate Institute for an Iftar dinner - the nightly breaking of the fast during the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is the sacred month of fasting, prayers and charity marked by compassion and empathy for those less fortunate. Thank you to the KCI Muslim Students Association for inviting me to participate in this significant observance.
