Great news to help with affordability and help small businesses was made in Etobicoke this weekend! We announced that we are capping the excise tax on beer, wine and spirits at 2% and cutting the excise tax in half for small craft breweries!

The announcement was made at Mascot Brewery in Etobicoke by the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Chrystia Freeland along with Minister of Small Business, Rechie Valdez, MP James Maloney, MP Francesco Sorbara and myself.

I will continue to advocate that we do all we can to support small businesses and make life more affordable for constituents in Etobicoke Centre.
