This week Mark Holland, Canada's Minister of Health visited JM Dental in Etobicoke Centre! We met with local dentists and leaders in the sector to discuss the federal government's expanded Canadian Dental Care Plan that is rolling out, starting with seniors. Applications first opened for seniors aged 87 and above in December, to those aged 77 to 86 in January, for those aged 72 to 76 in February. Applications for those aged 70 to 71 are now open for March. In May, applications will open for eligible seniors 65 to 69.

I have been advocating that the federal government take every step possible to improve health care and make life more affordable. The new Canadian Dental Care Plan will help do just that!
