Today marks the start of Irish Heritage Month in Canada. Canada is the proud home to almost 4.5 million Canadians of Irish heritage.
This month gives us the opportunity to recognize the important contributions that Irish Canadians have made and continue to make to Canada’s social, economic, political, and cultural fabric.
