Continuing to advocate for national standards to ensure that our seniors in long-term care homes receive the level of care that they deserve

Since May 2020, I have been advocating alongside several MP colleagues with the Prime Minister and Ministers for national standards for long-term care.
And our advocacy was successful when the Government of Canada announced it would work with the provinces to establish national standards.
Last year, I joined Ministers and MP colleagues as we welcomed the new national long-term care standards.
I have been advocating for national standards to ensure that our seniors in long-term care homes receive the level of care that they deserve.
I will continue to advocate to ensure our seniors get the quality of care that they deserve.
