COVID-19 Vaccine Roll-Out in Etobicoke Centre
Summary of COVID-19 Vaccine Roll-Out in Our Community (as of June 30, 2021)

1. City of Toronto immunization clinics

Who is Eligible (1st Dose)
  • People 12 years of age and older.
Note: People who are 12 to 17 years old, including those who are currently 17 and turning 18 in 2021, will be eligible to book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment only for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Who is Eligible (2nd Dose)
  • People 12 years of age and older can receive their 2nd dose 28 days after receiving an mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) COVID-19 vaccine. 
    • Youth 12-17 are only eligible to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
  • People who received a first dose of AstraZeneca at least eight weeks ago.
    • As of June 17, 2021, the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) recommends that an mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) COVID-19 vaccine is now preferred as the second dose for people who received a first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine. 
    • If you received a first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, you can choose to either receive a second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine or an mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) vaccine for your second dose. 
    • Individuals who received their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine are eligible to book their second dose appointment at an interval of eight weeks or more with informed consent.
    • If you would like a second dose of AstraZeneca, you can book your appointment by contacting the pharmacy or primary care provider where you received your first dose.
    • Individuals who received their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine and who choose to receive an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) for their second dose can also register for a second dose at an interval of eight weeks or more at City of Toronto immunization clinics or at participating pharmacies (see below in section "Pharmacy vaccine locations").

Trillium Health Partners

  • The following people are eligible for first dose vaccine appointments at Trillium Health Partners:
    • Individuals who are 12 years and older (must be 12 or older at the time of vaccination) are eligible to receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 
  • Second dose vaccine appointments: 
    • Individuals who are 12 years and older (must be 12 or older at the time of vaccination) who received their first dose at THP will be contacted to reschedule their second dose appointment in order of first dose appointment dates, beginning with those that occurred on May 10.
Method of booking: William Osler Health System
  • Osler-Humber College COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic, 207 Humber College Blvd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5L7
  • The following people are eligible for first dose vaccine appointments at William Osler Health System: 
    • 12 years of age or older (at the time of vaccination) who live, work or attend school in Etobicoke can book at the Osler-Humber College Vaccine Clinic to receive an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (ages 12-17 will receive the Pfizer vaccine)
  • Second dose vaccine appointments (if first dose received at an Osler clinic):
    • 12 years of age or older who received their first dose of an mRNA vaccine at an Osler vaccine clinic can reschedule their second dose appointments at a minimum of 28 days after their first dose. 
Method of booking:
  • Appointments are booked through the William Osler Health System.
  • Online at the William Osler Health System website.
  • By telephone: 905-494-6685, from 8:00 a.m. - 6: 00 p.m., seven days a week
